Massachusetts home invasion suspects captured in Edgewater

EDGEWATER, NJ - Two men sought in connection with a home invasion and related attempted murder in Massachusetts were captured on Tuesday in Edgewater, New Jersey.

According to authorities, Rahmel Moody and Gerald Glover, both 18, were captured on Tuesday at an apartment complex in Edgewater.

The home invasion incident occurred on April 26, 2009 at a residence in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The resident, whose name has not been made public, suffered gunshot and stab wounds. Authorities state that the victim had been deliberately targeted by the suspects.

Police are reportedly seeking a third suspect, identified as Carlton Rose, 18, of Massachusetts.

Moody and Glover are scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. before Judge Harry Carroll on charges of being fugitives of justice. They are being held without bail at the Bergen County Jail pending extradition to Massachusetts, where they will be charged with a number of offenses including attempted murder.
